This a technique we call "somatic manifestation." We recommend doing this practice as often as every day! In a society where we are so often driven by the wanderings of the mind, we need practices like this to reconnect to the heart. This particular practice is potent because it asks you to feel something you're heart is calling you to, without necessarily knowing what that is. This is the first step towards "listening to your heart."
